Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Traumatic events from our past can continually keep us feeling anxious and unable to enjoy all that life has to offer. A licensed professional counselor, licensed psychologist, Theophostic prayer facilitator, or EMDR trained therapist at Pathways Psychological Services is available to assist you in breaking free from the past and living each day in freedom without your painful memories limiting you.

One or more of these signs may be present
Strong memories of a life-threatening event
Avoidance of specific activities that remind of a tragic event that trigger anxiety
Altered mood or thinking.
Flashbacks about an event
Frequent nightmares
Severe anxiety
How do I know if I or someone I love is suffering from OCD?
- Does the person have bad nightmares?
- Do certain events trigger flashbacks?
- Was there a life-threatening occurrence?
- Is the anxiety, when triggered, overwhelming?
- Does the person have feelings of fear, guilt, or suspiciousness?
If you answered yes to two or more questions, this might indicate that there is a problem. Pathways can help you get to the root of the problem for yourself or a loved one.
