Psychological Testing & Evaluation

From time to time, a mental health professional will use psychological testing for learning more about his or her clients and help clients learn more about themselves. At Pathways Psychological Services, psychological evaluation through testing is available for adult, adolescent, and child clients:

Marital and Premarital Inventories

A well known and widely used program for premarital preparation and marriage enrichment is the PREPARE/ENRICH Inventory by Life Innovations, Inc. www.prepare-enrich.com. A Pathways Psychological Services marriage and family therapist trained in the use of PREPARE/ENRICH can help you identify strengths (to build upon) and growth areas (to work on) of your relationship and put a plan together for improving how you interact moving forward.

Psychological Testing for Adults

Our licensed psychologists are trained in interpreting the results of psychological tests that are offered by therapists at Pathways Psychological Services. Such tests for adults include the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI-2), the Millon™ Clinical Multiaxial Inventory-III (MCMI-III), and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). These tests help Pathways licensed therapists and their clients identify and understand underlying personality structure, potential diagnoses, personality disorders, and clinical syndromes.

Psychological Testing for Children & Adolescents

Pathways counseling services offer psychological testing and psychological assessments for child and adolescent clients. Such tests include the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-Adolescent (MMPI-A) for identifying a variety of psychological diagnoses such as depression and anxiety, the Behavior Assessment for Children (BASC), and tests to help diagnose ADHD such as the Test Of Variables of Attention (T.O.V.A.) and the ADHD Connors Test.
