Rich Graske, MA, LMFT, CSAT

Rich enjoys counseling with men, women, seniors, couples, adolescents, and entire families.  He has educated and counseled couples on marriage and pre-marriage issues since 1987 as a PREPARE/ENRICH counselor. Rich has over 15 years of corporate executive experience and coaches men and women struggling with career or workplace issues. He especially enjoys helping those who feel powerless or stuck in conflicted relationships or situations. Although he works with clients on a large variety of issues, his special interests include:

Philosophy

I believe in short-term, solution-focused therapy rather than life-long counseling for my clients although some issues do take longer to address than others. I endeavor to be encouraging and nonjudgmental. I do not view my clients as broken and needing me to fix them. I view them as capable individuals struggling as we all do from time to time in life. Life happens! Relationships are hard. Being only human, all of us are far from perfect. I believe God uses the challenges we face as opportunities for transformation into the image of Christ. To experience optimal growth, we must be willing to surrender to the transformation process. It is not easy, but it is rewarding.

As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, I understand the shame and self-hatred that frequently holds people in the addictive cycle and the impact ongoing inappropriate behaviors can have on marriages, families, careers, and finances. Admitting we are powerless over certain behaviors and surrendering our lives to God can truly set us free.
