Golden Valley Staff

Terry Zuehlke, PhD, LP
Terry has devoted his career to helping people in their times of emotional need. He has more than 35 years experience as a Christian psychotherapist, specializing in the provision of adult and couples counseling services. Terry’s main focus is with men who struggle with feelings of inferiority, powerlessness and shame, especially in the area of compulsive sexual misconduct.  He has seen counseling with these issues generate increased freedom from the rituals and a return of personal respect.  Couples have also been helped to rebuild love and respect for each other. Ying-tai Elliott, MSSW, LICSW
Dee Dee works with individuals, couples, families, adolescents and children.  She has been in the counseling field in three countries for more than twenty years, with the exception of the few years she  was a stay at home mom and volunteer.  Growing up in Hong Kong, Dee Dee is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Joan works with individuals, couples, families, adolescents and children (ages 7+). Rich Graske, MA, LMFT, CSAT
Rich enjoys counseling with men, women, seniors, couples, adolescents, and entire families.  He has educated and counseled couples on marriage and pre-marriage issues since 1987 as a PREPARE/ENRICH counselor. Rich has over 15 years of corporate executive experience and coaches men and women struggling with career or workplace issues. He especially enjoys helping those who feel powerless or stuck in conflicted relationships, behaviors or situations. Although he works with clients on a large variety of issues. Read More

Sherrill enjoys working with adults and couples who are seeking support, encouragement and personal insight as they move through significant life transitions in relationships, employment, and/or self-discovery.  She has a special interest in adult development and life transitions throughout the life span for both men and women. Gary Vikesland, PhD, LP, LMFT, CEAP
Gary has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. Over that time, he has developed a diverse base of experience, ranging from helping children overcome phobias, to working with executives of major companies. Lynne is a Licensed Psychologist specializing in providing psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. She has practiced at Pathways since 1997. Marc H. Haaland, MA, LPC
Marc grew up a military brat and later joined the military himself completing 4 years of active duty in the Air Force.  After feeling the call to become a counselor Marc moved to Minnesota where he earned his master’s degree in counseling psychology at Bethel College, later earning his LPC licensure. Julie S Zuehlke, MS, RN, CNS
Julie is a clinical nurse specialist in adult psychiatric care with Pathways. She has a background in pastoral care, serving in the ministry for over 20 years. Julie is currently focusing on women’s therapy services, connecting with her clients to help them with burdens of abuse, relationship issues, and spiritual health. Read More

ShelbyShelby J. Jensen, MA
Shelby enjoys working with children (ages 3+), teens & adults on a variety of issues. She has specialized training in treating depression, anxiety, trauma disorders and complex grief. With a background in writing, music and art, she has worked with clients using the creative expressive arts to explore pain and past trauma, in addition to more classical therapy approaches. Our professional staff holds licenses from a variety of Minnesota licensing boards. These boards have rigorous education and testing standards and require ongoing continuing education credits for therapists to practice under their license year after year. Each of these licenses allows therapists to practice in an outpatient setting such as our Golden Valley Christian counseling clinic and our Elk River Christian counseling clinic.
